Gem Quest Community Guidelines

Leaderboard version: 2026-08-07-v2
Gem Circle addendum: 2026-08-08-social-v1
Effective: August 8, 2026

Verified usernames and server-verified scores are public by default, with an in-app control to hide them at any time. Email discovery, Ready Rivals, and precise account data remain private unless explicitly enabled. Blocks, disabled profiles, and moderation restrictions always override public visibility. By using community features, you agree to follow these guidelines.

Be respectful

Usernames must not contain or promote harassment, bullying, threats, hate, discrimination, sexual or exploitative material, child endangerment, illegal activity, graphic violence, self-harm, profanity intended to abuse another person, or another person's private information.

Be authentic and play fairly

Do not impersonate another person, organization, developer, moderator, or public figure. Do not use modified clients, automation, replay attacks, fabricated scores, commands, or collectible counts, account sharing for rank or trophy manipulation, exploits, intentional disconnect abuse, alternate-account reward farming, or coordinated cheating. Personal progress may be saved even when a completion is not eligible for public ranking or a Prism Duel result.

Prism Duel conduct

Send invitations only to players you genuinely intend to challenge. Do not repeatedly invite, pressure, stalk, target, or harass another player, and do not coordinate results or abandon matches to transfer Rival Shards or farm rewards. Prism Duels contain no chat or free-text invitation message. The frozen arena, one-run limit, sealed score, deadline, draw, refund, and no-contest rules are described in the Prism Duel Rules.

Gem Circle conduct and privacy

Use player search, friend requests, Ready Rivals, profile previews, and challenges respectfully. Do not enumerate accounts, repeatedly search for or request the same person, infer or expose another player's email address, evade a block, create accounts to continue unwanted contact, or use presence to track another person. Email discovery and Ready Rivals are opt-in; an email is never shown to another player. Gem Circle has no free-text messages or chat.

Reports and blocks

Signed-in players can report a displayed username for an offensive username, impersonation, harassment, suspected cheating, or another guidelines concern. Reports are reviewed by Xerosoft Studio and do not automatically prove misconduct. Players can also block another player; blocked accounts cannot discover one another in Gem Circle, send friend requests or new Prism Duel invitations, view one another's Prism Legacy profile, or appear to one another in leaderboard results as applicable, although global rank numbers may contain gaps. A block does not erase a submitted Duel score or allow a player to escape an already accepted match; the server completes or refunds that match under the published Duel rules and prevents future interaction.

Moderation

We may hide or suspend a leaderboard, Prism Legacy, or Gem Circle profile; disable discovery or presence; reject a competitive score or Prism Duel result; refund or cancel a match; remove an invalid showcase; limit repeated searches, requests, invitations, or rewards; investigate integrity evidence; or take other proportionate action. Serious or repeated violations may also lead to account restrictions. We may dismiss unsupported or abusive reports. Moderation decisions do not disclose reporters, block relationships, balances, email addresses, device details, move transcripts, or integrity evidence to other players.

Changes and consent

If these guidelines materially change, the affected public or social feature requires acceptance of the new version before it can be enabled again. Turning visibility or discovery off preserves the recorded acceptance for audit purposes but immediately removes the profile from the relevant public results or discovery surfaces. Account deletion removes the related leaderboard and Gem Circle records as explained in the Privacy Policy.
